Coordinator- Human Resources

The role involves leading all HR so as to create a culture that motivates and inspires people to reach their fullest potential and contribute to the sector in a meaningful way.

As the Coordinator of the HR Function, you will:

  • Lead key HR processes like strategic planning, recruitment, induction, learning and development, performance management.
  • Develop & coordinate processes that will ensure all programmes are adequately and appropriately staffed.
  • Ensure all team members are inducted well.
  • Lead performance management processes including organizational and individual review and planning.
  • Design and implement appropriate learning interventions to enable the Pravah team to reach their fullest potential.
  • Build relationships and personal connections with all Pravah personnel
  • Build relationships with key partners such as educational institutions, NGOs, training institutes, recruitment agencies etc.
  • Mobilize resources and manage HR and Admin related finance and accounts
  • Document and report for the function including reporting internally, and to funding partners, if necessary
  • Supervise and inspire team members.

We are looking for a full time person with:

  • A Post Graduate degree with 3-5 years of HR experience of handling recruitment, learning and development, induction and performance management.
  • A deep understanding of current HR practices & processes.
  • Has experience in design and facilitation of training programmes
  • Willingness to engage with the various programs that Pravah runs with and for young people.
  • Ability to inspire, openness to learning, ability to think out of the box
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, passion to work with people and to make a positive difference.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and travel when necessary
  • Fluency in English and Hindi.
  • Good analytical and conflict resolution skills and a collaborative nature.
  • Capacity to work hard and keep commitments.
  • A positive orientation and cheerful disposition
