Pravah is now empanelled to conduct CBSE mandated trainings for schools. Following are the trainings for students, teachers & Head of Institution that Pravah is offering:

B. Details of Workshops

 

FOR STUDENTS

i) One day Life-skills workshop: Social, Emotional & Thinking skills

 Objective:

By the end of the workshop the participants will be able to:

·         Define ‘Stereotypes’ and identify their personal stereotypes

·         Identify their own conflict handling modes and personal action forward vis-à-vis their mode

·         Understand conflict resolution model of ESCA and identify one’s work are vis-à-vis conflict resolution

 Capacity:

100 students

 Facilitators:

4 facilitators for a group of 100 students. The facilitators are trained & have rich experience to design & facilitate experiential learning programs for adolescents and young people.

 Venue:

The school premises

 Time:

8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (aprox.)

 Methodology:

 Simulation Games, Personal Reflective Tools, Group Discussion, Sharing, Self-Audit & Role-Play

 

 ii) One day- Personality Development

 Objective:

 By the end of the workshop the participants will be able to:

·         Identify their dominant behaviour pattern between, assertive, aggressive & submissive behaviour

·         Identify their position in a group with respect to different types of group behaviour

·         Evaluate personal listening skills & make a plan for improvement

 Capacity:

100 students

 Facilitators:

4 facilitators for a group of 100 students. The facilitators are trained & have rich experience to design & facilitate experiential learning programs for adolescents and young people.

 Story Telling , Simulation Games, Personal Reflective Tools, Group Discussion, Sharing & Role-Play

 

 

iii) Life-skills through Visual Medium

 By the end of the workshop through films screenings and discussions, the participants will be able to:

- Understand & analyse difference between sex and gender through films

- Analyse impact of gender stereotyping

- Identify personal action forward to reduce gender stereotyping in society

 Capacity:

100 students

 Facilitators:

4 facilitators for a group of 100 students. The facilitators are trained & have rich experience to design & facilitate experiential learning programs for adolescents and young people.

Mind Map, Films, Drawing,  Group Discussion, Simulation Games, Personal reflective Tools

 

 

FOR TEACHERS

 

i)  Life-skills One day workshop: Social, Emotional & Thinking skills

 Objective:

 ·         Analyse their role as teachers in the life of the learners.

·         Identify what lifeskills are

·         Analyse the importance of lifeskills (Social, Emotional & Thinking skills) curriculum with students

 Capacity:

40 teachers

 Facilitators:

2 facilitators for a group of 40 teachers. The facilitators are trained & have rich experience to design & facilitate experiential learning programs for educators.

The school premises

8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (aprox.)

 Methodology:

Game and buzz groups, Self reflection and discloser, Association game, Discussion and classroom based reflections, Imaging exercises & Discussion, Self assessment and self discloser.

 

 

 

ii) One day workshop on gender sensitivity

 Objectives:

  • Explain gender as a social construct.
  • Examine gender roles and define gender equality

·         Analyse their role as a change agent for gender equality in their classroom

 Capacity:

40 teachers

 Facilitators:

2 facilitators for a group of 40 teachers. The facilitators are trained & have rich experience to design & facilitate experiential learning programs for educators.

 Methodology:

Game & Buzz groups, Self Reflection and Discloser, Role Play, Myth Blasting, Case study and Self audit
